Language Consultancy Europus provides a language consultancy service to TG4 and several other bodies. The company carries out a continuous language audit of such bodies and provides all advice and services required. Simultaneous Translation Europus provides simultaneous translation services Irish/English for public meetings. Fees are agreed with office beforehand. Subtitles Europus has been providing open and closed subtitles to TG4 and RTÉ for over 9 years. Due to the nature of the television industry programmes are often delivered to us close to the date of broadcast. This means that programmes must be turned around within very short deadlines. We never fail to deliver quality material on time. Europus uses Isis, a Windows based subtitling application for live and pre-recorded subtitling, by Starfish Technologies with whom we have an ongoing maintenance contract. The programme can be used for the creation of both open and closed captions. We have a highly qualified engineer available to us on site. Teletext Europus provides the TG4 Teletext service.
